Cookie Policy

FSG Modding — Effective: October 2026

1. Operator

FSG Modding (https://test.fsgmodding.com/) is operated by Sargent Interactive LLC. Privacy and cookie questions: privacy@fsgmodding.com.

2. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage (browser key-value storage used to remember your cookie preferences). This policy covers all such technologies used on this site.

3. Cookies We Use

FSG Modding currently uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not deploy any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking technologies.

Name / Key Provider Purpose Category Party Lifetime
PHPSESSID FSG Modding (fsgmodding.com) PHP session identifier. Maintains your login state after Discord OAuth authentication and stores CSRF tokens to prevent cross-site request forgery. Strictly Necessary First party Session (cleared when browser closes, or on sign-out)
fsg_consent_v1 (localStorage) FSG Modding (fsgmodding.com) Stores your cookie preference choices so the consent banner is not shown repeatedly. Strictly Necessary First party 6 months from decision date

Note: Your Discord avatar image is served directly from Discord's CDN (cdn.discordapp.com) when you are logged in. This is a resource request, not a tracking pixel; Discord's own Privacy Policy applies.

4. Optional Technologies (Currently Unused)

The preference center on this site includes categories for Functional, Analytics, and Marketing technologies. These are currently unused — we do not load any optional tracking scripts. If we deploy any optional technologies in the future, this policy will be updated and you will be asked to make a new choice before they are loaded.

5. How to Accept, Reject, or Customize
  • On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the page gives you the option to Accept All, Reject Optional, or Customize your preferences.
  • You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the site footer.
  • Choosing "Reject Optional" or "Customize" with all optional categories off does not affect site functionality — all features work with strictly necessary cookies only.
  • Your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage. Clearing site data or using a different browser or device will reset your preference.
6. Browser Controls

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies may prevent the session cookie from working, which will prevent you from logging in. Most browsers allow you to delete cookies, block third-party cookies, or be notified before a cookie is set.

Clearing your browser's localStorage for this site will also remove your saved cookie preferences, and the consent banner will be shown again on your next visit.

7. Third-Party Embeds and Data Transfers

FSG Modding does not embed third-party widgets, social media feeds, video players, or advertising networks that would set their own cookies without your consent. External links (Discord, YouTube, social media) will take you to those services' own environments under their own cookie policies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will update this page if we add or change any cookie or tracking technology. Material changes — particularly the introduction of any optional technologies — will trigger a new consent banner. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
